when i´m running a KTX quakeworld server on my server-machine and join the game with the same machine.
and then join with another machine and testing to play a match in 1on1-mode

then with r_netgraph 1 there´s PL (packetloss) everytime anyone dies??

some wrong setting or what?

im using the sample-configs in default i.e no changes.

ktx-sample-configs.tar.gz
and the newest MVDSV
mvdsv_0.25_Win32_i386.rar

btw im using this cmd-line:
D:\ktxserver\mvdsv.exe +gamedir ktx -mem 128 -port 27555

and the server-machine specs. is following:
CPU typ Intel Pentium 4 550, 3400 MHz (17 x 200)
SystemMemory 1024 MB (DDR2-533 DDR2 SDRAM)

Dunno what wrong, i run ktx and two ezquake(for test) on the same machine, pl does't occur for me when some one dies. Probably quake client on ur machine eat much CPU when someone dies, dunno why, some eye-candy setting may be, or some disk operation lag because server doing nothing special when someone die may be only fraglog, but seems u have some fast drive. So i have no idea what really reason of pl. Btw, how u decide what u have pl with r_netgraph ?

well i tried again and now the pl is not significant when dying only when match ends.

i made some system clean-up on the server-machine like defrag and other shit and it seem to help the pl-dying-issue anyway

oh, and also u can try to write demo not directly on hdd but in memory, and flush demo on hdd after match end, that may help too, but sure some pl will be at match end since demo flushed
