Several different clients for QuakeWorld with different feature sets exists for a variety of platforms.

Actively Maintained

  • ezQuake: modern feature set for competitive gaming
  • Fodquake: fast, lightweight and portable
  • FTE QW: also supports NetQuake, Hexen II and Quake II/III.
  • FTEDroid: a port of FTE QW to Android

Obsolete and Unmaintained

  • FuhQuake: Popular QW client
  • MQWCL: MoreQW client
  • TyrQuake: conservative enhancement of id Software's original client
  • ZQuake: Seminal QW client
