On the 5th of October 2008, the last day of that years Oktoberfest, a one day duel tournament was held in the four regular Quakes and in Quake Live Beta. The sponsor Bernard, a beer manufacturer, awarded the winner of each tournament with a beer glass with the Quake logo on it and a keg of beer.
