The huge original map (kelluva.bsp) had some incredible layout and designs with great potential. To convert this beauty into a playable 4on4 map, a lot of real estate needed to be removed (and thats why observe mode will look funny) and keep the really good gems. It took a lot of work to puzzle it together and now the map has some real nice and new features thats rare in a 4on4 map. There are 9 spawnpoints.
Skyfort consists of 3 main rooms: RA room, Quad room, 9towers room + the penta room, however there are no items in the pentaroom so its only good for hiding + be there every 5 mins or so.
The invisible walls surrounding the map prevents you from falling off the map. But at Quad area the invisible walls are taken away: Get ready to fight for the Quad with the threat of skydeath!
Strategy & Tactics
It seems pretty clear that the 2 main areas to control is the RA area and the 9towers area. At RA you got RA, RL and a MEGA. At 9towers you got the second RL, LG, YA and MEGA.
The RA area is designed in such a way that you need to leave the RA floor to get HP. Thats not really satisfying when there are 2 spawns at RA floor + the GL.
At 9towers you will not get YA unless you RL jump, so you must have the RL. There is also another YA pretty close but you need to go down 1 floor to get it...also that YA is on a spawnpoint. You can RL jump back, or just take the teleporter below. But all this is not done in 3 seconds.
In the middle of this you got Quad...that sits on a pretty dangerous spot.
The fight for Penta will also take a new twist...let the flood commence.
