Anwalked
Anwalked is just an edit from the original map anwalk. Some item changes have been edited, nothing more. HangTime and Link did the edit. The current bsp name is anwalked_test.bsp, in case it will be edit further.
HangTime's text on the changes:
The new map is architecturally identical to anwalk and does not seek to alter the overall "feel" of anwalk, but rather to address the issue of the pent/lg "fortress" being perhaps too defensible and increase the utility of the Ring area. It does this by making the following changes to item placement:
Pent
The Pent has been moved outside of the room, to sit on the grass opposite Mega. This is to avoid situations where a team can sit in the LG room camping with LGs while waiting for pent, and to encourage big action fights over pent (like many players enjoy for Quad). Potential access routes include the large tunnel, Quad>Mega teleporter, coming over the walls near Quad, plus of course entering from the LG room or spawning nearby.
Ammo
All cell packs have been changed to 6 cells, except for the pack by ring which has been increased to 12 cells. This is intended to force players to roam further from LG to collect ammo (compared to anwalk with a large cellpack just outside LG room). Overall this is a net change of -6 cells.
LG
The LG position has been moved to the ledge where pent used to reside.
Ring area
The ring/fountain area was historically very low traffic, so in addition to the extra cells mentioned above there is additionally 2 25hp packs placed here to encourage visitors.
This _test version of the BSP is intended for exploratory review and feedback is welcomed to identify any issues or oversights (NB if you hate anwalk due to the scale and long distance fights, this won't change that!).
