Just a fun little closed 2on2 tournament of mixed teams.


Format will be a weekly round robin structure, BO5, with a playoff component to be announced a little later on.


Map pool is Aerowalk, DM2, Ztndm3, Bravado2020, and SubterfugeQ (with quad) on as voted on discord.

(SubterfugeQ is available on any of our 3 servers (Rusty, Dusty, Flash))


Map Selection Process:

Map1: RND for who selects first map
Map2: Team who did not get first selection picks
Map3: If series is 2-0, team who is down picks. If series is 1-1 team that won RND from map1 picks
Map4: Team that is down 1-2 selects
Map5: Process of elimination, only 1 map remains at this point


We went over the rules in the discord, I want a good clean fight, you need to obey my mocking at all time. Touch rocket launchers now if you want. Back to your corners and come out shafting.

Rules

It's simple, we are all friends, shouldn't need extensive rules

1: don't be a dick
2: don't cheat
3: if you have to ask "is this a cheat" - then you're being a dick, we all know what is acceptable here, if any of you dicks need further clarification, message me


Server settings

  • Standard 2on2 settings as found on Rusty/Dusty's servers
  • If a team requests nospecs-mode, the other team is obliged to comply. QTV is enabled on public ports of both servers

Ping Rules

Even ping rules apply, but is flexible if BOTH teams come to an agreement that makes them happy for the sake of enjoyment.


These will be the fixed rules where teams fail to agree:


  • For teams with 1 high pinging player and 1 low pinging player:


Default:  The enemy player closest to the skill level of the high pinging player must ping up (ie: bogo+dusty vs yeti+nitro, yeti pings 155ms, bogo must ping to 155)
Option: If EITHER team wants at this point, they can force ALL players up to match the highest pinging player (ie: in the example above, all players would ping to 155)


  • For teams with 2 high players, all players must ping up to the highest pinging player


Match Reporting

  • The winning team's manager should report the match on the "Results" channel of discord
  • In order for a match to be valid, you'll need to have screenshots and demos from each played map

Team We Play Without ___ - Guidelines to owning them (their rules not mine)

* Before each map, enemy team may suggest an item/action that WPW_ must play without. For example, "Quad", "RA", "LG", "Mega", "Slow spawns", "Rocket Jumps", "Capturing the flag", "Crosshair", "Telefrags", "Gameclock" - Choose wisely.
* If, during the game, our team takes/uses said item or performs the denied action, both members of the team MUST quickly /kill which results in -4 score and a stack loss.
* At their discretion, WPW_ may play "Without Mercy" and they will play at maximum capacity

* WPW_ will stream games. And will likely make complete fools of themselves.
