Signing up
To register for any of the 3 official tournaments, you need to sign up by messaging
Peppe on Discord or in person.
Clean Language requirement
We enforce a Clean Language rule for team names. Please avoid using sexual, political, hateful or in other ways inappropriate language, as the event will be broadcasted to a wider audience than the local community. This of course applies to nickname switching or any other variations of trying to be funny. If you don't follow these simple rules, you may be removed from the tournament.
Server Settings
- Timelimit:
- 20 minutes in 4on4 with 5 minutes of overtime
- 10 minutes in 1on1 with 3 minutes of overtime
- Teamoverlay: OFF
- Antilag: 2
- If you're unsure, use /1on1 /2on2 or /4on4 in console.
Client Settings
- Allowed clients: EzQuake 3.6.8 or later
- Allowed ruleset: smackdown or qcon NOTE! ruleset smackdrive is NOT allowed
Match Reporting
- The team/player that wins has to report the match in the #match-reporting channel on the QHLAN Discord.
- A report consists of screenshots and server-side MVDs.
- Use match_auto_sshot 1 to automatically save screenshots of played games.
Added rules
- Pause
- We will limit pauses in this time to One pause per team/player per match
Issues can happen, but try to be aware that we are on a tight schedule.
- SOCD/idrive
- This feature will NOT be allowed, set up your keyboard properly and change your ruleset to smackdown or qcon.
With the new detection feature we will enforce a map loss for the player/team that are detected using SOCD.
The debate has been long and at times heated, with the latest detection for SOCD being available and the issues it has produced for some players, we have made the decision to not allow this feature.
If any of these rules are broken it will result in the forfeit of the current map.
Any form of wallhack or aimbot will result in disqualification, eviction from the LAN and being shamed for all eternity.
