Revision as of 07:46, 13 May 2025
Draft Masters 2 is a 4on4 draft event that takes place during May and June 2025.
Format and rules
Draft Masters 2025 consist of 3 divisions with 7 draft teams in each. Each division will have a round robin system into playoffs where #1 will reach the semifinals and #2-#7 will reach quarterfinals.
Each division 1 captain will have 4 picks from the player pool, the fourth pick will be captain of a division 2 team connected to the division 1 team. The division 2 captains will have 4 picks each but will not pick a division 3 captain. The division 3 captains will be picked by the admins and the division 3 teams will not be connected to the div1-2 teams.
A total of atleast 7 games for each team: 6 x Go3 + 1 Bo5 in the playoff game. More games for teams who win their QF
Each game/round has a deadline. A deadline can be pushed as long as all games are played before the last deadline. Any non-played games will be resolved by the teams captains and the admins.
The tiebreaker in the standings are:
- Wins
- Mapscore
- Internal fight (if 3 or more teams are tied in the above)
- Fragscore in those internal fights
Any cheathing or misbehaving will be struck down on and you will be sent to a one week misbehaving-camp in the Netherlands where Div99-Wimpeeh will teach you how to behave.
Admins have the final say in anything and more or less controls your qw life.

Max 1 standin per team during a map.
Map pool & picking
| dm2 | dm3 | e1m2 | schloss | ??? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
GO3 (Group Stage)
Division match procedure: All division games are GO3. First map pick decided by cmd rnd. Second map is picked by the clan who didnt pick first. If 1-1 the clan who picked second map will toss one map out of the remaining three maps, the other clan will then toss one map out of the remaining two maps and then you play the last remaining map. If 0-2 or 2-0, the clan with 0 wins will pick 3rd map. No map can be played twice.
BO5 (Playoffs)
Playoff match procedure: All Playoff games are BO5. First map pick decided by cmd rnd. Second map is picked by the clan who didnt pick first. If 1-1, the clan who picked first map pick 3rd map. If 0-2 or 2-0 the clan with 0 map wins pick 3rd map. If 1-2 or 2-1 the clan with 1 map win pick 4th map. If 2-2 play the remaining map. No map can be played twice.
Scheduling
- All matches have a deadline (consult the Tournament page for the dates).
- Teams should schedule matches on the Discord server and tag the admins when a time and date has been found.
- If a team is not making any efforts to schedule a match it will be taken into consideration when a WO has to be assigned.
Ping
- The primary driver for server selection is to find a server where the teams have similar average pings (+/- 2ms) and to minimize that average.
- The pings should be the most even for the two teams and measures like cl_delay_packet or proxy rerouting to balance pings should be employed. A team with a higher average ping than their opponent on a given server may request the opponent to do this (or change server to somewhere with lower average ping).
- Matches must be played on EU servers.
- The highest minping that can be required is 39ms. This may occasionally mean matches played with uneven pings where one team has high pinging players, e.g. NA players on EU server.
- This process applies for every map played. Where lineup changes are made between maps it may become necessary to switch servers or adjust pings at the request of either team to rebalance pings.
- Servers that are providing significant packetloss that cannot be avoided by proxy rerouting should generally be avoided unless both teams agree to play there.
- If a clan request antilag 1, then this setting is to be used but only if they have a player above 52ms.
- If players still can't agree on a server, please contact admins about it. Admin decision is final and refusal to play on a server designated by neutral admins will be considered a WalkOver loss.
