One of the first Norwegian clans, along with Spawn Clan. Founded in 1996.
History
The Vicious Vikings was originally formed by a group of Norwegians, led by BM. The core members grew up in the same neighborhood, and had been playing Quake via LAN since the test-release. When they heard about the Quake clans, they decided to make their own, as there were very few Scandinavian clans at that time. According to the old web page, The Vicious Vikings attacked «without fear and with brute force». Eventually, several non-Norwegian player joined the clan. It was never the best Norwegian clan, but probably the biggest, with at least 30 members at one point. The acitivity and the clan slowly declined around 2000 along with the general QW scene.
