DM3

"Nearly fullspawn for cMF but they kinda sucked it away. RL died and gave pack, quad was stolen and ring killed, and we got an early lead. They did one thing right though - they'd delayed pent and NONE of our guys had any clue by how much. With the second pent coming up we were clueless, and cMF could take it easily and turn around the map. Third pent we were still clueless, fourth pent likewise. Had we taken at least half the pents on this map, and more importantly the second one, we just might've held on to control. cMF are good enough without giving them the advantage of 4/4 pents. GG though!"

"A big game coming up, everyone is excited and ready to play. Except for one man, the man of big games, sajv. Our confidence is gone in a heartbeat. The big game begins with our choice, dm3. As expected, everyone in the team was waiting for someone to step up, to fill the void sajvler left behind. This allowed gtg to boost themselves up by ~45 frags. At this point we had a vision, a vision of THE MAN telling us what to do. "Don't lose to SR!!!" he cries, and we imagine we are playing against SR and win comfortably."

E1M2

"Obviously we went with E1M2 as our choice. We played pretty bad though. Griffin and Mrlame pulled their doubleweights like usual, but the support was poor. We weren't able to shield our RLs and did a poor job at rushing theirs. Quads went every which way and we had practically no teamplay when it was needed the most. We knew when we lost this map that it was pretty much over - there was no way we were gonna win DM2, CMT3 AND CMT4. But what the hell, you gotta try, right?"

"We just love predictions. Proving them wrong, that is. In season 5, against all odds disorder was defeated and now it was time to do the same against gtg. They didn't give up without a fight, though. Too bad they were against sassa's idol Angua and his rookies. After e1m2 was over, rumour had it that our main man, Martian, might be home soon... teamspirit rocketed skyhigh when we heard this."

DM2

"Oh yes, DM2. We got lucky on the start, getting both RLs, cMF spawning quadjump (quad kaputt) and then doing a helluva job of rushing our RLs. Both RLs out of ammo before second RLs spawned! We still managed to hold on to the map and pick up those RLs and ammo to keep the map reasonably locked down. Our blue boys went to clear Low and eventually we scored a maplock. But cMF are strong, especially in their teamplay, and it was impossible to hold it for very long. They eventually returned the favor and locked us out, but not for long either. RLs died at water/telly and low had to retreat in order to secure quad. We had a chance. The last couple of minutes of this game were intense - with one minute left we lost low and thought we were screwed. Bondeskills!"

"Ouch, he didn't make it in time so we had to field the same squad once again. This was very confusing game, both teams had opportunities to lock down the map several times, but failed. In the end our gloving partydude couldn't break through and gtg held on the victory."

CMT3

NQR7 Div1 Semi GTG-CMF cmt3.jpg

"cMF picked CMT3. It was a close game, with cMF leading the way most of the time, and with a couple of minutes left and roughly 30 frags up, they thought they had it and started to slowspawn/hide. Wasn't enough though - we passed them with roughly 45 secs on the clock, and were able to cruise into the finish line safely. Sadly, that left CMT4..."

"Dm2 ends, sajv is present, but decides he won't be joining us for the cmt maps after being really disappointed in us to fuck up dm2. We got first pent and rl, so it was going to be all cmf from there? "No way", replies James Bonde while dishing out damage alongside his partner in crime, Mrs Patricia. We got a solid lead but went to sauna too early which resulted in gtg running all over us the last 5 mins. Now the man is getting nervous in the specroom."

CMT4

NQR7 Div1 Semi GTG-CMF cmt4.jpg

"Now what this map is doing in the map-pool I'll never know. I've always said it's the WORST of the CMT map, and I hold to that statement. Had not the rules been specific on the point I would've agreed with mrlame's suggestion that we'd random a map from TB3 as decider. Anything is better than this one (no offense meant to slayer - I just don't think it's suitable for 4on4). Between screwing up on one pent ("open now- no wait, DON'T.. enemy pent") and being late/outgunned on a couple of quads, the margin was with cMF today. They played very well, and I've no doubt they'll go ahead and take home the title this year. Good luck in the finals guys!"

- by Dakoth from Griffins Tappra Gossar

"Neither team likes the map, so we discuss briefly about playing a random tb3-map instead for decider. This idea is soon discarded as gtg feels they have a better chance here. Game begins, gtg gets early control and we are thinking "how could we fuck up dm2, AND cmt3? :(". We concentrate on getting the lightning guns since that is the dominant weapon during quadfights. It paid off bigtime, as we racked up a lead of 100 frags when there was only five mins on the clock left. Slowspawned, went to sauna, got killed, slowspawned, went to sauna... After the game we go chatting in mircworld and there is the man, asking us how we could start game without consulting him first. We tell him "your thoughts were with us" and he says "*ler*". It's all good."
