I played this game in 1998-2000 on our local server in Yoshkar-Ola, until it was shut down. I don't remember working on mistakes or developing any strategies. I played it purely for fun – pew pew pew, you know. And, well, I was too young to think deeply.
Decades later, a small group of local Quake players came forward with a proposal to organize a tournament. It was in February 2020.
I was probably the only one who was obsessed with trying new hobbies. I had to prepare myself to take the first place. And I did it.
After the tournament, I found out about the QW community, Discord chats and online tournaments.
It was a big mistake. A big mistake!
