NQR10 going into playoff
Group games has ended for NQR10 and its time for the real deal, playoffs.

This is were u separate men from boys and see the playoff-beard grow in superstars as Gamer, ParadokS and Razor.

Now time for some predictions on all those games
Gold Cup Quarterfinals

koff vs. Team Freedom

"Eh" was away most of the season so koff couldnt practice or participate in the early stages of NQR10 but made a run for it in the end and got 3 games played, winning vs Obvilion (2-0) and Dag (2-1) but loosing agains the finnish rivals, cMF (1-2).
They are mighty strong with their starplayer Gamer, the former Slacker player.
Freedom have their ups and downs and played periodically superb.
7 of their players have played in NQR and their strongest lineup is: Nepra, Valla, Striker and Dahmer.

I havent seen any of these two clans playing the past weeks so I dont know their current form, but I have to go with koff.

Their presure on Dm3bridge area is extremely good, no other team plays that way, they basically dont give a rats ass about RA. They just keep bridge area clean and try to kill all enemys who try to leave the area with a good weapon.

Dm2 is a not a lotto map for koff, defending the low perfectly from quad attacks and sweeping all low rl's as much as they can.

Sassas prediction: Koff 2-0
Keyplayer koff: Scenic (gamer/valla even things up)
Keyplayer freedom: Striker

Slackers vs. Suddendeath

Murdoc, Insane, dragon, ParadokS
Thats 2006 and 2007's lineup of Slackers and there are not many teams that can beat them.
They are extremely good at starts, knowing exactly what to do with perfect timing.
Suddendeath has to get Xantom in shape and what I have seen, ok98's Quad runs.
If ok98 gets a few quads he can turn the game around, specially his (dm3)RA sweeps are fantastic to watch, killing 2 enemyrls and saving packs.

Slackers Dm3; watch closely how the first RL goes Ya-top directly to RA if they have the first quad and then attacks second rl.
A camping insane on bridge, dragon safing up ra with gl and para/mur running the quads perfectly and clearing the map with the bridge->hill->tunnel in the end of most quads.
Slackers will choose dm3 and win it.

I believe Suddendeath has their best chance on dm2, but its not by stoping ParadokS or murdoc. Insane is the man to stop here. Safing high tele is a key position. I dont now how many times I have seen Insane (200/200 rl) jumping high tele and killing several rl's and turing the map around with the quad.

I dont believe SD got what it takes with all ping whine.

Sassas prediction: Slackers 2-0
Keyplayer Slackers: Insane
Keyplayer Suddendeath: ok98

Clan MalFunction vs. Death Dealers
Fifi and fix, what a duo and with the flying dutchman, reppie, they will have a very eazy task vs D2
D2, only facing 1 worthy opponent in the groupgames (freedom) and loosing that game hugely will get raped here even though they have fancy players as avenger/keyser and serox.

Sassas prediction: cMF 2-0
Keyplayer cMF: angua
Keyplayer d2: none

Antiquad vs. Dota-Allstar-Guys

AQ have already been raped by Slackers and bearly won vs Hippushnik will now get demolished by the new Starteam, Dag.
Dosnt matter what map Dag will choose, its doomed from the start.

Sassas prediction: Dag 2-0
Keyplayer dag: rock
Keyplayer aq: harvesters pines

Silver Cup Quarterfinals

Core vs. Demolition Crew

Dqm goes DQM allstars goes Core, now with Persuader (the man who is scared of not raping teams) has stepped up in the front seat of the Silver-cup.
They have only lost vs jokkmokk but their ego is still intact and will proceede to the semifinals.
DC have problems on e1m2 or on all maps imo, they dont know the basic rules of dm3 for example, just letting their starplayer Raptor handling all quads and hoping for the best is not a good tactic.
They dont only lack in that, but also in aiming and movement. its a miracle that they have made it this far and should have lots of credit for it.
Their only way to win it is if Core totaly underestimate them.

Sassas prediction: Core 2-0
Keyplayer core: Persuader
Keyplayer dc: Raptor

jokkmokk vs. Bear Beer Balalaika

Smalagreger, TheEvilDog, mogge, Zaq seems like a great lineup with the king of end (LILLD) on the bench ready to jump in, incase Ted goes away and spectate a Slackers game.
A very strong team that the russians will have a hard time to crack.
I know some of them but dont know how they work as a team

Only dm2 can put jmk down but I think they will handle this game pretty good and win it.

Sassas prediction: JMK 2-1
Keyplayer jmk: mogge
Keyplayer BBB: Bulat

Hell Gloom Crew vs. JUGS

The hungarian force, jugs, will have a hard time vs the uprising old clan from Poland, HGC.
even with zero they wont manage to win any map than e1m2.
HGC will choose dm3 and win it quite eazly with Docent and Billy.
Dm2 is a kurwa speciallity but which one of theese two teams are kurwas?

Sassas prediction: HGC 2-1
Keyplayer hgc: billy
Keyplayer jugs: zero

Apocalypse 2000 vs. ballistic

I have seen bst play and the way they do it.
Marvel, desmo and batfink is a great combo and now including Squeeze, all the way from Canada.
They are ubeliveble strong on dm3 with not 1 single lost there.
A2K will call on their knees and pledge for mearcy

Sassas prediction: BST 2-+
Keyplayer bst: marvel
Keyplayer A2K: springs

Bronze Cup Quarterfinals

Clan Cube Squad vs. EnemyQuad

CCS has lost 1 map (e1m2) in the entire groupgames and will not loose one more in this Quarterfinal.
Seraph, the surprise from Ownage is the fragmaster and will make the story short.
How ever, they should not underestimate RocketZ, the former ClanArena god. if he gets a good start on E1m2 he might be able to change the outcome with the new upcoming starteamplayer in EQ, antic.

Sassas prediction: CCS 2-0
Keyplayer CCS: Seraph
Keyplayer EQ: antic

DOT vs. smackthatass

Dot from russia has what it takes to go to the semifinals but they need to win the ping-battle.
STA are really hot on dm2 but lacks e1m2 skills.
Their only chance is to give smerz tons of rebull and hope that he will play beyond his limits

Sassas prediction: Dot 2-1
Keyplayer Dot: Armadon
Keyplayer sta: smerz

Boomstick Ownators vs. O CLA

o clan, the brazil/american/canaducks have a very good teamplay and impresing aim with that ping.
They will control the game with knowledge and win the game, but it will be a close one.
Get Animalboy into some practice and its a done deal.

Sassas prediction:
Keyplayer ocla: Animalboy
Keyplayer BO: glt

Mean Machine vs. Mori2ri
MM are qually strong on all maps and will play with mori2ri as its barbie

Sassas prediction:
Keyplayer MM: Skillah
Keyplayer mor: raz

A2K isn't in playoffs, NoPasaran! is. Our initial fixture was incorrect due to the fact that A2K is shown as the 4th placed team due to better map difference, but NoPasaran! won the groupgame vs A2K and thus they advance to playoffs. Nice with predictions!

Well well well. I'm happy to say the prediction of eQ vs CCS was wrong. Dunno if they didn't field their strongest lineup or what but it was a 2-0 victory for us. There is a quite noticably difference in average skill of Bronze A and Bronze B groups. Due to not playing very many games two clear candidates for playoffs from B didn't even make it but would have no trouble winning against any Bronze A team. As we proved by winning CCS but losing to 5th place finishing psyc. Then we cleverly avoided giving any points to 6th place finishing Oldones by not playing them but they too would have been contenders in the playoffs had they played all their games.
