After being in and around the Danish Quake scene for over two years, it probably shouldn't have surprised me too much. But it did. To be quite honest, I think its pretty disgusting that when one player leaves a clan, his decision takes three others with him. I honestly thought the scene had matured beyond this point. It seems the only clans able of surviving, are clans where friendship and fun comes before fame and results. To name two examples: [[Nasty Beasts Inc]] & [[Icon of Pain]]. To name two clans that died: [[Fragomatic]] - when [[Descenman]] left - and [[Teddy Bears]] - when [[DOOMer]] left. I think TGM has matured from these experiences, it's not the first time TGM lost their LPB team. Clan Good Game (GG) was formed by the LPBs that left TGM, but GG died only a few months old.

But did the scene learn from this? No. As a consequence, TGM will continue with people I know and trust. People that wants to have fun, rather than have their names mentioned in awe by newbies. Perhaps TGM will be among the top clans again sometime in the future, but as things stand right now, I doubt this will happen.

Clanleaders Sabotage (The Green Machine), HeKSeN (Frag'o Maniacs), Qwack (The Ugly Ducklings) and Garfield (Nasty Beasts Inc) created the first online gaming league in the world - Sabotage proposed the set of rules and other leaders adopted the idea.

To name two examples: Nasty Beasts Inc & Icon of Pain. To name two clans that died: Frag'o'Maniacs - when Descenman left - and Teddy Bears - when DOOMer left.

TGM is entering a 3rd stage of evolution, and its going to be exciting to watch it grow and evolve.

Just the other day I was talking to some Ocrana guys about this very same thing, it's not always about making the coolest frags, get mentioned in the most articles/sites, or being the worst b*tch on the net, but its about having fun. Making connections with your teammates and other people you meet often on the net sometimes makes perfect friendships and even couples in real life, as im sure alot of you guys out there can agree with. One example could be the Swedish clan Brutal Deluxe or German clan Ocrana, always up for a blast and a damn cool bunch of people, this is what makes MY game of Quake fun to play.
