Introduction text to team Ragnarök. Who came up with the name?

A team created mainly for the purpose of competing for first place in the upcoming [[QuakeCon 2016]] 2on2 tournament, and was quickly regarded as the favorite to win the competition. Hence, the original name suggestion for the team was "kpteams", a term used to describe deliberately made uneven teams based on the infamous [[Kingpin]]'s team suggestions in various 4on4 mix games over the years. However, since this was one of the biggest tournaments in QuakeWorld's history, the suggestion was disregarded for the more serious name, Ragnarök, to emphasize on the North European origin of the two players, the destruction of the other teams Ragnarök hoped to lay waste on their path to victory, and a possible new beginning for QuakeWorld in general being represented in such a big event.

A team created mainly for the purpose of competing for first place in the upcoming QuakeCon 2016 2on2 tournament, and was quickly regarded as the favorite to win the competition. Hence, the original name suggestion for the team was "kpteams", a term used to describe deliberately made uneven teams based on the infamous Kingpin's team suggestions in various 4on4 mix games over the years.

Prior to the QuakeCon 2016 tournament itself, was a series of two shorter tournaments including many of the teams that would be represented at the event to help the organizers seed the possible teams. Ragnarök ended up winning them both, which helped to solidify their favorite status, and ensured them the first seed.

After a solid performance throughout QuakeCon 2016, Ragnarök was at the end of the day declared as winners after beating team Rune in a final played in front of thousands of live spectators.

The duo paired up again for the QHLAN 2017 2on2 tournament, where they again beat team Rune in the final.
