Osams was formed by a group of friends from Jordbro, Stockholm. This group expanded when the core of members went to university in Norrkoping, and over time members from outside of this circle of friends joined up, such as [[Lakso]], the PL-ridden ice hockey noob and [[Lunna]], the Danish superstar who wowed the crowds on lunarstorm.se.

Osams were a hot favourite for the NQR6 Bronze Cup, but suffered a shock defeat in the quarter-finals to the eventual winners OLw. Without key players Lakso and Grekfan, Steppa, Thompen, Lunna and Whyz were unable to overcome their fellow Swedes and suffered an early exit. The team were again favourites for an NQR title in the next season, this time in division 3. However, they were beaten by Veni Vidi Vici in the semi-finals and had to wait a little longer for success.

The clan gradually improved in the middle of the 2000s, from being division 6 (of 7) in NQR5, to losing in the division 3 (of 5) playoffs in NQR7, and finally winning the NQR9 "Silver Cup" in a thriller final against [[Wunderbar]]. After some difficult seasons in EQL in division 2, the clan slowly slid down the divisions as its players became less active. The superstar line-up of Steppa, Thompen, Lunna, Lakso and TheEvilDog was separated and in EQL 10 and 11, only the first 2 of those players are active. They are joined by Gaz and Manny, who have been with the clan since before NQR7, and perennial #osams idler [[Pattah]].
