This Brazilian FFA event is a standalone event organized by ..................The idea of the event was to get some FFA going on several new maps and make a showcase of it on a good stream. Some classic maps are added as well. To make it interesting we made a little prize pool; it is not much but registration/playing is free so it is indeed free money for playing some Quakeworld for a couple of hours.

We asked the Brazilian Quakeworld scene if they where interested and they signed up to play. They recently had a 2on2 tournament with prize money and all of the players showed real dedication and great display of skill so we thought it would be fun to ask them. Also we got inspired by the Australian Quakeworld scene who just finished their Australian FFA Bonanza...check it out, it was awesome.

12 players will play the Grand Final on 4 maps with timelimit 15. To decide which 12 players who will get that honor we will need a Qualifier round. The Qualifier round will have 6 maps with timelimit 10 and there will be groups of maximum 8 players. The number of signups will decide how many groups there will be. If there are 2 groups then the top 6 players in each group advance to the final, if there are 3 groups then the top 4 players in in each group advance to the final, and so on. The maps in the Grand Final are a bit larger than the maps in the Qualifier, so we add 4 more players in the Grand Final group.
