wondering how to make the gameclock bigger under "classic" settings in options. "new" hud i cant see lg ammo so i went to classic and like it minus the small gameclock. how do i make it bigger under "classic" hud.

You can't, but what you can do instead is use old hud and newhud just for gameclock.
To enable both huds use '/scr_newhud 2', then do '/hide all' to hide all the elements of newhud, then do '/show gameclock' and adjust it with /hud_gameclock_* cvars to your liking (make sure hud_gameclock_place doesn't point to another hewhud item otherwise '*_show' value will be inherited from it). And to hide the oldhud's gameclock do '/cl_gameclock 0'.
