Hey everyone. I'm in the midst of putting together a classic game server website with a bunch of server's i'm hosting. Is there anyway to publish an Nquake Server info to a website? Even if its just text with the name of the server, the mode and how many people are playing on it?

I think you can manually add servers to the quakeservers.net index here.

That said, I believe the default nQuake server configuration will attempt to publish your server to known master indexes automatically. I've run local test servers that other people have discovered! I think `ktx/servers.cfg` has `setmaster master.quakeservers.net:27000 qwmaster.fodquake.net:27000` which might be doing it. But I honestly haven't investigated why it happens.

Weird... Both sites can't find my server even though its online at 73.222.146.3:26000

Can one of you guys see if you can connect? Maybe I have to register my server with the sites.

I get no response from that ip:port.

port 26000 sounds like its an nq server, not a quakeworld server (as implied by you naming the nquake project).
Either way its not responding to either qw or nq connect requests. Check your router/NAT/firewall.

Can this be remedied by changing the port? If so what are your recommendations on the port number?

FYI I can see it listed under QuakeWorld servers and connect to it.
