I have been using Foogs UI, having adjusted the console size in order for it to scale correctly to my desired resolution. Although In the process I now have caused the Chat (Triggered by T and Y on my config) to appear in the appropriate size and in large on the top corner as demonstrated on my screen.

If anyone is able to help. Please comment. All correspondence is appreciated.

Currently using ezQuake 2.2 stable (build 4306)

Looks to me like one of the chats is the oldhud chat and one is the newhud chat. Probably some scr_ command or something, don't know them by heart (or you could do something with the newhud chat, then the command is something like hud_chat[xxxxx])

EDIT: and jesus christ you have a high FOV :d I wouldn't go over 105 when on 4:3 resolution or 120 when on 16:9, but thats me ^^

EDIT2: and wait, what, 60fps? Are you using vsync? With your machine you should be able to get way more fps than that. And I mean WAAAAAY more ^^

Like Andeh said, looks like you have new and old chat enabled at the same time. set either con_notify (old HUD chat) or hud_notify_show (new style HUD) to 0, should solve that problem. scr_newhud 1 disables the old HUD however does not touch
con_notify.

That's resolved my issue.

Thank you very much both of you, I appreciate the assistance.

Also, yeah, I have had vsync on for some odd reason. Turned it off though, didn't notice untill you pointed it out Andeh
