OK fellas

PUKAREIA - A cool dm2 and dm6 mix for all people who just love a fast paced game.

Info about the map [ details ] :

Rocket Launcher x 2 [ 1 big pack, 2 small packs ]
Lightning gun x 1 [ 4 packs ]
Grenade Launcher x 1 [ as for RL ;> ]
Nail Gun x 1 [ 4 normal packs ]
Super Nail Gun x 1 [ as for NG ]
Super Shot Gun x 2 [ 4 normal packs ]

Mega Health x 2
Normal Health x 6

Green Armor [ GA ] x 1
Red Armor [ RA ] x 1
Yellow Armor [ YA ] x 1

There are overall 4 teleports on the map - 2 pairs of transporting back and forth ( so it's possible to get telefag - just like on dm6 Main Arena <-> MH ).

There are 2 secrets - 1 with QUAD DAMAGE, second one with ammo.

There are 2 wind push areas ( one to basically propell the quad runner ) - the second gets You to GL [ Grenade Launcher ].

Finally there are 6 SPAWNS

A quick info about the map:

This map, unlike the forementioned dm2 and dm6 has fair and distant one to another spawnpoints, so each player has almost equal chance to gather all necessary weapons, packs, health packs and armor before confronting oponent. I deliberately placed LG ( Lightning gun ) in such aplace - so that getting it is very risky ( just like on dm6 ). Main item on the map is RA ( Red Armor ) which is placed in the center of main arena, but don't get too cocky - there is at least 5 ways to approach those who try to FUCKING camp at it ( OMG sorry I've got carried away - I just hate campers !!!! wrrrrrr ). If You find Yourself in bad shape and out of ammo - don't you worry asthere are plenty packs to pick up along your way to salvation. This was the main goal - to avoid finding yourself in a position where loads of ammo to use but none in backpack ( unlike DM2 ).

After looking at screenshots and running around it a bit, I feel like one more letter "e" is missing in map's name and "i" isn't really necessary ^^. Pukearea it is!

hm. well, if it's your first map, then I have to say it's not too bad. It looks horribly and has many questionable (to be diplomatic) design desicions. But from the gameplay perspective it might prove interesting. At least you seem to keep gameplay in mind as the general placing of items and layout seem to be created with balance in mind.

He himself likes the green color-scheme
... its a matter of taste

If you go for feedback on items, placement, etc : its a snake-pit...
I personally stay away from "i would place this here and that here" feedback : because every player is biased to his own preferences
I dont want to make player-biased maps.

Player feedback on the 'flow' side can be very valuable , with flow I mean movement related flow and connectivity.
