Long time quake/quakeworld player and first time poster here. Yeah I know took me long enough !

I have a question, is there an alternative game commentary script or something out there which will let the user modify or write their own custom commentary i.e. instead of "Siker rides Evils boom stick" let it say "Siker blows lead bucks!". Since they made the source open, I'm sure there is a way ?

Search for re_trigger in ezquake manual.
With them you can substitute/remove some messages. Although this functionality is quite restricted because of possible cheats
