Hello fellows! We are playing this mod everyday here in Brasil nowadays. mihawk re-compiled qwprogs with TEAMKILL OFF so it got much more interesting...

The server is: ce.quakeworld.com.br:28001 (28002, 28003, 28004)

I also made the monster spawns for this maps:
end (end_bloodfest)
dm2 (dm2_bloodfest)
dm6 (dm6_bloodfest)
dm4 (dm4_bloodfest)
ztndm3 (ztndm3_bloodfest)
aerowalk (aerowalk_bloodfest) (BUGGED, I need to get aerowalk.map maybe.. with only the .BSP a texture was missing)
lavagod (lavagod_bloodfest)

(I'm gonna make also dm3, e1m2 and skull)

So, I need help with something... I want to change the death behaviour: Instead of beeing simply DEAD (waiting for all the others die), I would love to re-spawn with zero frags!
(so you can continue playing, but far far behind the others in the score-table)

Also would be nice to let new players connect and continue playing in an already-started-game!

I would also want to know a better (SIMPLER) BSP editor program (other than QuArk), couse I want to do some improvements in this maps (for coop) and I really CAN'T re-compile this maps with this app... (I think maybe becouse I just have the .BSPs and not the original .MAP) (if so, can someone point me a link to this .MAPs, dm2,dm4,dm6,ztndm3,aerowalk)
or another BSP editor?

Here's the original Quake .map files from Romero's page. I don't think any program will get you a working .map from a .bsp, but if anyone knows it's the people at Func_msgboard. Maybe GtkRadiant? As for simpler, I would use Worldcraft in the old days, and it still works with a 'Q1 extension'. BSP is a great program IMO. GtkRadiant is id's own editor and very nice

That would defeat the purpose of bloodfest "teamplay". If you are alone, you should not be able to survive like in left for dead games. If the group gets wiped out, that's that then (bloodfest is, after all, kind of an imitation of l4d). Do I even have to mention the one with high score and not dying getting higher and higher score?

Unfortunately we never finished bloodfest with Qqshka, meaning people can solo 4k+ scores which should not even be possible. Unfortunately it will probably never be finished or fixed, as there is noone left to do it in the KTX / MVDSV projects anymore.


p.s. using bold everywhere is just as annoying as using caps, you can actually make a point without using either one of them.

We here play it just to kill time, when there are only 3 players, and we can't play 2x2...
