Victim Nr. 1 reporting in:

Stream config is fine imo, though a little dark (IIRC others had that problem too that in-game gamma did not affect stream output).
It was lagging for me (well, most streams lag for me). Maybe reduce quality a little ? Since there are no high-res textures, it should not hurt too much.
Ups, now fine now, must be my ISP sucking
Ah yes, your HUD misses enemy scores, makes it irritating to watch I think.

vid_hwgammacontrol

If gamma correction is done on hardware its difficult for screen captures to pick up that change. So you might want to try to use software gamma adjustments at a slight performance penalty.

EDIT: Forget all that, it indeed is my computer not being a fan of 1080p 60fps ..

I can't figure out if the issues I have when watching the stream is just from my side, I usually don't have this problem watching HD streams on twitch.

Here is what happens: For me the video seems to play slightly at slow motion (barely noticeable), making the image progressively late and then jumps forwards in time to a few ms later to compensate and catch up with audio, making it look like it's missing bits for footage here and there. As if the video was too high fps and can't synchronize correctly, I don't know how else to explain it, it's very strange. In-between those "cuts" the footage is very smooth tho.

It's too bad because it makes the stream unwatchable for me Anyone else have this problem?

The stream is 1080p at 60fps yes? Maybe it's just my computer not being able to handle 60fps at that resolution. If that's the case then there is not much you can do

The stream has "breaks" which is probabily related to 1080p streaming

half the resolution is just fine imo =) and should be smoother
never argue with an idiot. they'll bring you back to their level and then beat you with experience.

Yes, the 8bit textures seem to make High-Res streaming horrible, maybe try 24bit textures instead. However, I prefer gl_textureless 1, r_drawflat 1 or gl_picmip >5 for the stream.

Nice initiative! I added a post of your stream to add to the esreality sidebox http://www.esreality.com/post/2382310/re-live-streams-sidebox/

Maybe we can do a stream vs stream thing?

I wrote a howto guide here: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=esreality+guide+high+def+stream but it concerns 2 pc setup

The 1 pc setup is more viable now, although for a game like qw where you don't want to lose *any* fps, I think 2 pc setup is still best

If you have any questions, drop me a line on irc

Looks like the aspect ratio is a little off now, like you are playing on 16:10 but it is set to 16:9?
Maybe show the weapon model if its not too disturbing while playing.

Why do you have stuff showing up twice on the screen? Like the console text and the team overlay?

Quality is ok but things get a bit blurry when a lot of action is going on. Also I'm not a fan of the custom sounds etc, but i guess it's a matter of taste. :p

Interesting setup though, nice work.

For teamoverlay, the two relevant commands are hud_teaminfo_show (the newer hud element) or scr_teaminfo. Disable one to suit your preferences.

For the console text, you will need to choose between hud_notify_show and con_notify.

The hud_ elements tend to be far more customisable, but are not necessary if you are happy with the old ones.
