This is a map from the game Painkiller originally made by Tectonic and Pha3z.

I did the best I could to recreate the jump pads and I think they do work out just fine or better than most other maps with airlifts. They don't hold your hand like aerowalks so you might have to use a little practice to get used to them.

I would love to get some feedback on the map. I've already played it in a 2on2 with a friend and I think the score was like 80 - 1 in our favor so it isnt a slow map or too big for qw. In comparison I would say that the size is similar to dm2s. Only had a chance to duel it once but it seemed alright. My prediction is in the end it will play best as a 2v2 map but we will never find out because no one in quakeworld plays custom maps.

Please if you do upload this to your server let me know, also if you start a game on it let me know as well and I'll come and watch and try to get feedback from it. I'm always idling on IRC authed as foogs. nickname foogs or foogs_

I'm really interested in top euro players that I see 2v2ing all the time like Milton etc have to say about it. Also any NA players!! Maybe I could host a 1 map tournament like QuakePhil did a couple years back for all TB5 maps.

Looks fantastic. It might be the most beautiful map I've ever seen in qw so far. What spoils it is the jumppad mechanics. It's a shame that there is no way to make a proper player viewdirection based jumppad in vanilla qw

This is a great remake! I do have a few suggestions that you might want to think over/consider.

The jump from the RED arrow... You should be able to land on top of the re-bar and continue bhopping away afterwards. In PK, this requires some considerable speed, not sure if you should take that into account if you decide to implement this.
For the PINK arrow, you should be able to hit the ledge right where the re-bar comes out of the broken wall after hitting the jump pad then bhop over to the ledge. Right now this isn't possible due to the ledge/brush size.
I also suggest moving the LG ammo closer to the ledge( as seen in pic ) as this is something that in PK, you would have to do a little airstrafing to make sure you didn't jump OVER the ammo. I think moving this item up should definitely be considered...

That piece of broken wall that is there in original map should be there, either that or some sort of small ledge to camp up on RA at. You should be able to land there after jumping on the re-bar or via rocket jump.

Something that would be cool to have in, just like the original map. Always had fun running through the vents and spamming nades through there.

In the original version, you can't camp on top of this tele, if you try to land on top of it, you would hit the teleporter. Would be cool to not be clipped on it if you do decide to keep it though.

I'll come back later and if I have more suggestions, I'll come back and edit this post.

Wow.. I'm amazed that someone has done this. Will definitely play this, cant wait for it to be on servers.
