Curiously, was it Rusty dictating that no non-NA players can play in the tourneys or was that decision unanimous?

dirtbox: it was something I put to the PRO's of the division at the time you asked to join, they decided and i supported their decision (for the 1v1 tournament that is)

Before the hijacking and subsequent break away of most players from this leftovers league, euro's were infact allowed to play( no reason they shouldn't be allowed to play. Claims after the hijacking that pro players made a decision against this were either made by Rusty and dad, or are fictional facts made in the world of Rusty. In regards to euro players participating it was our stance they could play and some euros did participate in the tournament during the time GND and myself were running the tournament.

On that note #qwcentral has begun signups now that the script kid is effectively locked out. Contact either Vegeta or Shaftadelic. We will be posting a date for team picks as soon as signups are complete.

Seriously Shaft? I asked you on a server the other night not to bother including me in your drama on here. Yet I see your last post did just that even after you said you have always respected me. Never have I voiced an opinion publicly or privately regarding the 1vs1 league and euro players. In fact the 1vs1 league is 100% run by rusty where he hasn't been hindered in administration by anyone else, including me. At this time you might take note of the fact that the 1vs1 league is running without a hitch. The rookie division in which I play in, has started playoffs, serp and blaze played an amazing match in pro division last that was not only very exciting but also displayed some of the best sportsmanship seen to date. Hats off to both players for their efforts.

As for the comments that some of you are making in what you think is private about my quake skills. Well lets just say that nothing is private in qw and having better quake skills than someone twice your age does not make you a better human being as many of you are proving. At this time I would like to challenge all your dads to a 1vs1. Ok that's a joke but I do want to leave you all with the following thought.

No one has the market cornered on quake. Just like you can open a variety store on any corner even if there are 3 in the neighborhood already, so can you also hold as many tournaments as you want. I see to0 many chiefs and not enough indians. Everyone wants to be a chief but no one has actually stepped up to do any work. You guys slapped up a website and I do mean slapped up. You list 4 people as crew on the site and yet between the four of you I see no one has done anything on it since.

People keep talking about gnd and rusty stepping down and a new panel yada yada yada. None of that is necessary, if you feel you can do what is required then simply put up a page with sign ups for a tournament and run it better than anyone else has and the qw community will appreciate it.
Until then if you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem.

Yes shaft actions do speak louder than words so show me and don't tell me. Rather than post back and rant more stuff that never happened, start a tournament and use your time constructively. GND told me wait a week and see what we accomplish. I think we are on the second week now, so I have given up on him. I wish you would all start amazing tournaments rather than just dedicating all your time to talking shit. The quakeworld community awaits your actions not your comments.

Frankly I want to finish this draft TDM season because it's mostly finished already with good and competitive teams despite some people thinking Hoes are unbeatable (we lost to Imm on DM2 by 20 and only won DM3 vs them by 20). A new league can be established relatively quickly but it doesn't solve anything as there will still be this huge drama between certain people. It'd be much better outcome to have new fresh leadership and to finish this season off.

Flash the 1v1 league has had a problem in that Thump4/Rusty flare up which Rusty felt needed to be detailed and posted on his league site, which you can see here http://www.na-quakeworld.com/index.php?l=1&s=4&mod=content&view=thumpa . Not sure why an admin feels it necessary to post drama as a major news update. Also I'd be surprised if certain players like GND, Vegeta, etc want to play in the 1v1 after all the bullshit over the 4v4 league. I guess that's without a hitch for a Rusty run league however. It's all relative.


By your own weak logic you are part of the problem as well since you are not running a league? Seriously you just declared everyone part of the problem.

If I felt I could do a better job than rusty or had a problem with rusty then I would start a league. As neither is the case, I feel no need to. Also I am not calling everyone part of the problem as there are those who are not bitching and are still playing.
You say you want to finish the league, vegeta says he wants to talk to rusty but has yet to resspon to rustys msg to talk. Shaft says him and vegeta are starting a new tournament. Perhaps you, shaft and vegeta need to talk and get your stories straight.
As far as thumpa goes, that wasn't a hitch. Thumpa caused an issue in his 1v1 match and rusty dealt with it. The 1vs1 league continues as does life. Perhaps you should move on with your own and put an end to this thread now. Its good advice but I am sure you wont take it as words seem to come to you more than actions do.
Also in case you aren't sure, what you did was more comment and no action. AGAIN

Oh well. This is the second time this bs that I wanted to talk to rusty was brought up. I never said i did. Anyways, this whole thing is really funny/sad. I still cannot believe this is happening in 2012. I remember this kinda of drama back in 90's when we yad our 16s. Now about the draft league. We had a very decent season 1, with some issues and mistakes, but nothing that made ppl lose interest and stop playing qw. Season 1 was a great achivment for the naqw community. Gnd and shaft started it and in fact it was a great idea and the activiy went up like 200%. some old players came back and new players as well, from qlive, doom, cpma and other games.. There were nights that we had 2 servers with 4on4 plus alot of specs and randoms 1on1 at the same time. Something that had never happened in 7+ years. The first website we had was Sta, and the guy who was updating it was taking weeks to do it and it was a very simple website. I wanted to get something better and found a premade thing that you could easily update the scores and and the matches played, was a very functional website and we used it till mid season 1. Unfortunatelly that system wasnt really specific for quake or online games competitions, and i couldnt really get screenshots and demos easily available. thats when gnd found out about kmleague. He sent me the link for it, and since I dont know shit about html/php stuff, rusty offerred help and by the end of the day, he had the website ready with new domain and his own host. We moved to new irc channel so everyone woud be in the same page. Even thou not everyone approved his method of moving ppl (kickban everyone from #sta) everything turned out fine. We started season 2 and again e had some issues but it looked like everything was gonna run just as smooth as season 1. When rusty had a problem with thump4 on his 1on1 league that he started and decided to put all the drama in the news page of OUR draft league and banned thumpa on irc. Of course we thought that was a bad idea and asked him to remove that bs. It looked really personal and we didnt want it there, also we told him that he didnt have the right to ban the guy from irc. Thats the community channel and not his. After that Rusty felt that we owere against him and all we do is bitching and bla bla bla, when in fact we just didnt agree with that attitude. Think 2 or 3 days past and all of a sudden he thinks he has the rights over everything . Take everyone out of the Q list and claims himself the one and only admin of the league. And then the war begins....

Here are the facts, now I ask you to think about this, what gives him the right to do that when all he did was put a website together. A website thats already made and u just change the logo uptop? All the people that were involved on the organization of the league dont feel like its right.. and i dont think anyone would ..

Heres another thing. We always offered help to update matches and stuff, he never let anyone do it. He wanted to b the one, and now he claims he has done everythingo... Oh well. Not like we had a choice to help..

Now, this is all messed up. People thinking theres 2 leagues, a real one a a fake one or shadow league like it was mentioned before. When in fact theres not. Its one league. The draft league. Our league. All the stuff we have at qwcentral is the same we had at na-quakeworld. Execpt that rusty decided to kick out the players that dont agree with him on his website and form a new teams. In other words, changing w.e he feels like. Even the captain of his own team have no words on scheduling a match. as per his own words "i think i was kicked out of my own team".

Now really, i think most of the players feel like i do. I just want to play the game and have fun. The league can continue and have a happy endidng as long as WE, the players get together and play our matches. Cause at this point dont really matter who started the league, who msgd the players, who organized, who host the website,... Its not about Gnd, its not about Rusty. Its about finishing the season as it is. Nobody can stop u from playing ur matches. We run the league, the community, not one person.

Starting tonight ill b messaging all the players that signed up for season 2, and I expect a positive answer from the guys that, like me, just want to play the game.

I messaged you on IRC that same night, and did not receive any response from you AT ALL, that was now 3 or 4 full days later, for someone who wants to "get everything sorted and everyone to work together" you sure have a funny way of showing it.



So please tell me what exactly you would have been HELPING with if you know nothing about setting up, deploying, or operating the KMleague? The whole reason I took over the website was because you 'had no clue how to do it'. Fastidious said himself "I offered to help, but said I really didn't care to". I'm suppose to allow someone I've known a few weeks access to a site that I had spent considerable time setting up and sorting out when no on else cares to? The hard part was done, reporting matches is a piece of cake. It seems very easy for you all to jump on the band wagon once all the hard work is done, but none of you want to get the horse moving.

You guys continually make mention that "you have a site up and running in 24 hours", awesome, having spent dozens of hours doing custom things on the site, I can tell that none of you know what you're doing in PHP or anything outside of what came in the little neat KMleague box. As others have told me and I will tell you now, your site looks like a joke compared to the one setup for NA-QUAKEWORLD. I took the time to actual understand how it worked and customized to our needs, how quickly you and others forget what you requested I made happen. I see you are having to do your signups via 'message Shaft or Vegeta on IRC', considering your site is everything NA-QUAKEWORLD's is, you should have these features and more.


The only person with any delusion on this issue here is Shaftadelic. GND and others feel the need to hide the fact they supported this. GND even stated himself in a PM to me "yeah, and we can just kick everyone later once they have moved". Make no mistake about it, as my posted log showed previously GND was fully on board with the move from #sta. He was the owner of the channel and gave me Master account privileges so I could remove everyone from ops so they wouldn't be able to unban themselves. He was on board with everything that occurred during the move.

It's funny because I was just told yesterday how Shaftadelic kick+banned [HCI]Maraakate from your QWCentral channel for "helping my takeover of #sta". Maraakate was being a great guy and offering to write a script for GND and myself to automate what we were trying to do, he even said it in the main channel. Somehow Shaftadelic strings this together as he is the mastermind behind the plot to move channels, and GND stands idly by not telling Shaftadelic "no, I told Rusty I was good with the move", he would rather let some innocent guy who was trying to help us at the time get punished. I guess that's how things work in your circle, people who help get put out in the cold once you have no more use for them.


This shows just how little you and the rest listened to me all along on a variety of subjects, it was NEVER about thump4, as I told Serp, if he can get a hold of him, he is more than welcome to play in the 4v4 draft and 1v1 duel, he just needs to leave his attitude elsewhere. You guys seemed to have more issue with the fact I was calling out thump4 publicly for being an asshole than the fact that thump4 held up one of the draft games for 2 hours with childish behavior, or was abusive to everyone he came in contact with. Seems like there is a mismatch of priorities here in the community.


Vegeta, you and your few leading your charge seem to be the only ones that feel that the websites are similar, given that you didn't know how to set it up and whoever is running QWcentral clearly doesn't know any custom web design, I really won't take that as much of an insult. I've received more messages regarding the "additions" to the site than you probably realize are even there, including comments from a few individuals that do web development for a living. I am no where near the level of those individuals, but their kind words and praise are worth far more than any insult or "look how easy it is" comment you can muster. It's ironic, it's too hard for you to setup, but now you're an expert on criticizing my custom work on top of the initial deployment?

I don't care to comment on the rest of your post I feel I've covered the lump sum of the garbage.

The whole reason this split took place was because the panel Me and GND agreed to was IGNORED and I was told "if you don't like it, leave". It's just unfortunate that you are making everyone suffer further because you and a few others couldn't stick to the agreed upon plan and have no integrity or sense of commitment to your word. I believe what Jjonez was attempting to get at that none of you have any right to start "smackdown" as a tournament. As we saw with "STA", you guys have a special liking for bringing back big tournaments that you had nothing to do with during their initial run. As we all know, STA is still a running league by the original creator, not for QW but other games, thus why we moved from #sta to #na-quakeworld. Jjonez's post was a direct response to Shaftadelic telling me "I had no rights to #smackdown", no one has any rights to start a tournament in the QW community called "SMACKDOWN" besides the original creators and organizers of it. I'll put it into perspective for you. If your clan, 6, DIED fully and some newb came along 3 years from now and re-birthed 6, having never been in it or having any involvement, would that be alright with you? I'm guessing you would feel it was wrong and would have something to say about it.

For some reason you all seem to continue to pillage tournaments of that past to fuel your cause, I'm seeing a trend here, nothing you do seems to be ORIGINAL or of your own mind, it's all based off of someone else's hard work.
