Hi

I recently tested QW a little bit on my new laptop. Its a dualcore 2,4 ghz with 4 gb ram and an nvidia geforce gt 420m with 1gb memory. This should give me a couple of 100 frames per second right? Not 4-5?? Any ideas?

Sounds like Quake cant find a working gl driver so its running gl via cpu. Could be a bad .dll in quake-dir or some other driver problem.

Also make sure the BIOS and the OS powersaver settings aren't set to make a battery last forever instead of playing QW at a decent FPS
