IIRC those are N30g3n3s1s's armor models, don't have a working link... But I can put em up somewhere if you want? Else you can just use the 24bit replacement skins, they should also be a bit better for performance.

it would be nice if you could just upload them to gfx as it seems im not the only one looking for them.. but if not it would also be nice to link them up so at least i can grab em real fast

rex, looks like you didn't put the armor.mdl file in the correct folder. should be qw/progs or id1/progs

zalon, not sure, i haven't modified it. i downloaded this armor years ago and found it in my quake directory.

Ok purplehaze, it just matters quite a bit in regards to performance, because of the way that ezQuake handles md3 models :/

Why not just bump up the limits of the mdl format in ezquake, use NOESIS and convert from MD3 to MDL? Done.

SputnikUtah, I was just asking if it was already converted or not.
But cool link, never seen that program before, will have to check it out and see if it's better than what I normally use.

note the huge fps in both engines...so the model seems to work fine

i've re-upped the files to gfx site in a PAK format so just plop the pak into your qw directory and u shuld be good.
