Hi there,

unlike most of things I like to do, I like a little spoiling when watching Quake demos. I like to watch the whole match, from the start to the end, from the eyes of the top fragger of the team that have won.

In order to achieve that I usually have to demo_jump to the end of the match, check the team which has won and who was its top fragger, start the demo again and switch to his view. Is there a command that automatically does all that? A command like the one that focus on the player with Quad, or one that focus on the current top fragger, but instead would analyze the end of the demo and do what I want?

cl_hightrack "1" tracks the topfragger. Not sure if it's the winning team.
else there is the autotrack cmd, tracks quad pent and so on.

cl_hightrack 1 is nice or you could just demo_jump 20:00 and see who is topfragger and after that reload demo and watch again?

A good tip is to watch milton(all maps) zero(dm2) and murdoc(all maps)

I think there is an mvd parser somewhere that could pump out the stats, but to be honest the easier way is probably what you've been doing (demo_jump then reload).

Thanks for the help. By the way, is the MVD format well documented? Since it seems no client out there has this feature, I could implement it. Eighter as a standalone project or inside any open source client. I'll take a closer look into this when I get more time.

Thanks!
