For probably the few days, terminx the primary author of the EDuke32 engine for Duke Nukem 3D is collecting feedback on his latest engine release at the QuakeOne.com forums.

Thread here ...

Not surprisingly, he is familiar with MHQuake and TomazQuake from the "old days".

A rare cross-community interaction from back when they knew how to make games :lol:

Hehe, cool. I played a little Duke back then too. Never finished the whole game though. Perhaps it'd be fun to do it with a newer engine.

Lemme tell you ... Duke Nukem 3D is addictive as hell using that engine.

By the way, one of the guys on the project team is an NVidia driver dev.

Duke3D is really fun.. too bad it doesn't have a proper multiplayer with TCP/IP (that i know of). would be awesome to play
