Of course. We were already considering the possibility that some people would be willing to contribute money to get good players there who otherwise would be unable to attend...

Nice, will certainly consider contributing even if i most likely can't be there myself.

I'm in Brighton which is on the south coast, but I'll prob be playing frisbee in London a couple of times in the next few months, I'll hassle you just before to see if you're bored.

Nice, will likely make a triumphant return to Sweden. Flights are only £120 return with BA if you book now!

Using sl.se it reckons it'll take about an hour and a half from Arlanda to Handen station, then about a 10minute walk according to google maps. But sl.se is saying catch a bus, and I hate buses, so who knows how long it would take via Arlanda Express or bus to Marsta and normal train to central. Not sure where the other airports are to compare unfortunately.

Edit: Arlanda Express reckons 20minutes from airport to central, sl.se reckons 24 minutes from central to handen, so probably about an hour going the more expensive route factoring in average amount of bad timing between trains. Total guess work ;p

yeah, Stockholm-Bromma seems the closest one....but looks like it's not an International Airport - only domestic flights. So Arlanda it is....

Does not look like Ryanair offers any fligths from Bremen to Skavsta at that time. I hope it's just that their autumn/winter flight plan isn't up yet.

What, what? This is what I get...

I found okayish flights with Lufthansa though and might just use them. However, they have the drawback to go via Munich.

Hmm flights only about £120 from London, though the buses and rental of PC/monitor would be on top of that...
What time does stuff usually finish on Sunday - could I get a 9pm plane and not miss the finals or anything? Is it possible (or usual) to stay on Sunday night?

Bromma is the closest, about 30km by car from the lan. After that it's Arlanda (65km), then Skavsta (119km), and then Västerås (125km).

yeah stroller it would be cool to have the QW bus going from arlanda/bromma to the venue haha, but that would mean everyone would have to get there at the same time which wouldnt happen, but I wouldn't mind seeing a bus with posters "QUAKEWORLD.NU" and stuff ^^ some damn nice advertising

ok, we got the flights from Brussels to Bromma and from Amsterdam do Arlanda. So far, summing up trains to and from the airports and the flight tickets, both prices are the same (192E). The only difference will be now in the travel time and costs in Stockholm. From Bromma to Handen Station is roughly 1hr (with bus, 1 change) or 30-35mins with car (anyone ?) - any Stockholmer has any idea what would be the bus price ? ResRobot.se doesn't give the prices

Arlanda - Handen Station is roughly 1hr20min....not THAT much more. tho it is first the Arlanda Express, then a local train. Any idea how much would this be ?

please, help guys
