Hi

Got a very annoying problem when playing , from time to time the game freezes for 1-4 seconds and then returns back to normal. Dunno what the problem can be, turned all other programs off and it still freezes. Can it be some kind of hd lag?

Use processexplorer to find out which process was keeping your CPU busy during that period. Launch it, View -> System Information, launch ezQuake and play, when a lag occurs, return to process explorer and the System Information window, point the mouse to the point when the lag occurs, you'll get a tooltip window saying which process was the most busy one at that moment.

HD lag can be detected by FileMon utility (same vendor as processexplorer - sysinternals).
