You need a mod dir called fortress where your pak0 from tf should be in, together with other team fortress game data.

so in x:\quake\fortress\ is where your tf files should be

Ok thanks but I think the installer installed everything and yes, the fortress folder is done. But how do I make ezQuake launch TF?

There are different ways to do that.
1. Write in console /gamedir fortress
2. Add +gamedir fortress to your cmdline
3. Connect to a TF server

Hi barrelroll5,

You mean from here? : http://www.filefactory.org/index.php?game=tf&category=1&subcategory=1

I think all TF servers run OZTF 1.45 nowadays. But don't worry, if you connect to a server the client will download the needed files. Or you can download and install zelTF (http://www.ausgamers.com/files/download/html/31412). It contains everything you need to play online plus configs and some eyecandy.

Just to make it clear, do you want to play TF online or single player?

Hey,

As I said, the version you downloaded is outdated and most (if not all) servers run OZTF nowadays.

I remember playing TF coop sometimes, I think it was version 2.5. I'm not sure if OZTF supports coop mod. I tried launch a coop match yesterday but wasn't successful. If someone knows how to do it, I would like to know.

Btw, didn't the installer create a TF menu on your Windows start menu?

Well if you mean the orginal TF yeah but that was a dos. But the zelTF works. Been playing online on 3 or 2 diffrent servers. By the way, I binded g for the sniper to zoom but I can unzoom. How do I? And if it helps I did it Bind g Zoom or bindg zoom and that works but I cant unzoom. Also what does auto zoom do?

Yeah I remember I could launch coop TF from the start menu when I started playing. Good times...

In zelTF config (which you can find at (\zeltf\fortress\config.cfg) the default key to zoom is f, it might still works, try using it instead. Press once to zoom, twice to get back to normal FOV. If you want you can change the key by editing the line

set sniper_zoom f

in that file. When autozoom is on, if you hold the fire button you zoom and when you release the button you will fire and your view will get back to normal. Also you move slowly when zooming this way. I never played too much as sniper, but sometimes autozoom don't work for me. I also think the alias in zelTF is considered to be a better way to zoom.
