I think fuhquake-gl had some commands to simulate software rendering in open-gl. Does ezquake have this and if so does anyone remember the commands?

if you just want to look like software quake use gl_texturemode gl_nearest.

gl_pic mip shouldnt be changed.

I have an alias in my cfg that i guess belongs to ezquake, legoquake. looks like the old software with mipcap =)

These are the ones I have in my config, I think some are from the default nQuake config, but at least the legoquake ones I did myself.
The difference between the two is fastsky/fastturb - also if you want the square look of the water/teleports set gl_scaleTurbTextures to 1
