im trying windows7 atm and i really like it so far ... but qw is not working!
when i start ezquake i get pretty strong screen flickering. it looks as if i would alt+tab every milisecond
i have the latest ati driver , tried the usual video commands (ztrick , tripplebuffer , changed resolution,hz , vsync etc.) but nothing has helped so far. ive tested other games and theyre running fine...
pleeeeeease help me and fix that!

edit: same in fte and zquake! cant test fuh cause the website got japowned!

hmm, so its definately a driver problem. rivatuner couldnt fix it (i cant edit driver settings with my ati card). ati released a win7 driver but it doesnt support my card (its only for hd3650 and up..). i tried older/recent vista drivers but it doesnt change anything in qw. the flickering still remains the same..
seems like i have to wait till ati releases real driver for win7. no qw for me in the summer! :<
but i really love win7. it was a huge jump for me cause ive never tried vista. so it was xp->win7 and its so smooth , convenient and fast! this will be the os the masses will use i think. i recommend everyone to try it out.

UPDATE:

got it working with this method: http://www.hardforum.com/archive/index.php/t-1401409.html
using older vista driver that support my card and manually edited most recent opengl driver into it using the method above... hooray!
