4th overall, not bad. Was dissapointed my soundtrack did so poorly though

so how should the next competition look like?

well if you want to stick with the theme of giving people specific demos

you could do one of reppie's route to duelmania victory

or dag through the ages

or you could ask people to focus on a single dueller of their choice and include as much content as they want on that particular person

there's tons of options tbh

i think a small increase in the time should be made though

perhaps up to 1 min 30 or 2 mins

what about giving some highlights of good ra defense on dm3 or good strategic gameplay on ra-mega on dm2, defending it and then attacking the quad when it rans out?

75mb and 2 min long should be good enough?

well the problem is that that requires the movie maker to find specific demos that match those requirements - a hard job given the size of ch-tv. the beauty of your first competition was that everyone worked from the set demo that was handed to them

Also.. double the time and only 50% more space? If you want to see movie-quality like Pez's, you should definitely not lower the time/size ratio.

Oh.. and an idea for the movie competition. I liked Zalon's Terminator-inspired movie. How about you set a common theme like a movie, some historic event or similar, and people would have to make a QW movie about that? Special effects will be allowed, but there has to be some quake-related material in there of course. I know this is something much different from what has been suggested until now, but it would be a nice contrast to the more constrained material we just had. To ease the judging process you could optionally mandate the genre of the movie, eg. that it *must* be comedy/parody.

I find a certain lack of understanding for comedy in the QW community. I don't think it's a good idea to announce a competition focused on humor.
