I bought this vid card 4 months ago when I was upgrading my PC but there seems to be an issue with r_dynamic 1 (massive FPS drops when dynamic lighting in EzQ is within view) and the drivers I'm using. I've gone through quite a few drivers on Nvidia's driver archive but cannot find a working driver that doesn't have this issue. I used Win 7 beta for a few weeks in early January and the standard drivers there were fine with r_dynamic 1. I'm pretty confident it's a driver problem, I just can't find a working driver. Anyone else experience this issue and find a good driver?

I don't think so. QW is too small of a game that even one person on NVIDIA forums would be a QW player. It's better ask here on QW.nu due to bigger player base

178.24 WHQL could work, and so could the very latest 182.05 Beta. Other drivers in between them were pieces of shit (180-series) but this 182.05 beta seems to be very good driver... for my GTX260 at least, I sold my 8800gt a month ago or so so I can't really comment cards in GF8 class (8800/9800 series) regarding this particular driver.

If you know how to, you could always do some .inf modding to make 175.19 driver support your card, since 9800gt is technically 8800gt at 55nm instead of 65nm.

The 182.05 Beta drivers had the same issue. The 178.24 worked though, thanks
