This is just an idea I had lately, after I decided to try to reactivate my clan. Anyway. I remember when my clan was founded for EQL6, there were several rookie clans around for pracc, since there were several new founded ones.

So here is what I thought of: All individual rookies, wanting to participate in 4on4 and already existing clans reply here. You should post the general information. Name (for clans clanname and name of members), country, Irc channel, 4on4 experience everything else you think is important and last but not least the times when you definitly can play QW and how often per week you want to play.


If enough people show up, we could form some regular pracc teams (depending when people have time to play). The best case scenario would be if we get an even amount of teams where the dates of availabilty would match for pairs of teams.


The main idea behind this is not to form clans competing against each other, but more a possibilty to pracc 4on4 for beginners with groups helping out each other, giving tips and so on.


By this players playing mixes but also in this small "community" could bring in new strategies, moves and so on they saw in mixes with higher skilled players and make them accesible for other beginners. I think this could be a very good mixture of regular games to learn basic stuff with some advanced stuff, which would help players really interessted in 4on4 increase their skill very fast and players who just want to get beyond the "4on4 is ffa, but I just shoot half of the players on the map" to get an idea of how 4on4 should be.

Experience: I played some 4on4 in EQL6. I believe that DM2 is my best map. I know where all items are, how to get from point A to point B and some really basic strategies. In DM3 I know where items are, still lose orientation from time to time and I dont really know strategies on this map. E1M2: I run around hope to get a weapon and to make some frags. I really suck on this map.

Availabilty: Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Sunday from 20:30 - 22:30 CET. I want to play 2 times per week. (3 times max)

Experience: I've played in a few EQLs and know all 5 major 4on4 maps and their item placements backwards. I have experience in the tactics for all maps so I can probably offer rookies a lot of advice when it comes to how to win maps and what to watch out for, but my execution, and my mm2 awareness, places me firmly in the rookie category.

Availabilty: My clan has gone inactive for a little while, so I can prac every day from 20:00 CET until at least 01:00.

i can play some nights of the week after 21.00cet. i'm not sure i can spend enough time to be of much use. i would like to be a rookie stand-in for 4on4 though.

Thats exactly what I dont want. We already have a rookie channel which is full with people idling. We dont need another channel with inactive players. I want to have fixed times, where group A consisting of player 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and group B consisting of player 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 play on Monday 20 cet til 22 cet or whenever. Group C and Group D on another date. No need to talk about who wants to play and when, no need for a single player to admin something.

I want to have something fixed like you have soccer training or something. You dont hang around every evening at your clubhouse to hope that some of your teammates come around to play. 4on4 is very time consuming anyway since a game lasts 20 min and after each game somebody either has to smoke a cigarette, go eating or shit. I dont want to waste even more time to wait for enough players to play.

I prefer 8 player coming to a fixed date 2 times a week and play over a channel with 30 people wanting to play.
