The LB bracket is nearing its conclussion, but before we get to the final showdown, we still have a few interesting matches to enjoy.

This particular match features the players: ParadokS and Rock^.

ParadokS dropped out of the Winners Bracket by a walkover win for Mille in round 2 and has been fighting his way through LB ever since, to claim his place amongst the top competitors. Being a long time QW player, ParadokS has the routine to make it through LB. The only question is, if his lack of practise during his PokerdokS era will hurt him in the end.

Rock^ was knocked out of the Winners Bracket by LocKtar in the WB Semi Finals. He has shown the viewers that he's got the skills, the routine and the commitment to go far in the tourney. Only question is, will it be enough to survive this match?

By looking at their previous matches, ParadokS seems to be in good shape for the upcoming matches. Beating both Pkk and Fix into submission in his previous matches shows this.
Rock^ has shown that he's able to put up a good fight vs such players as LocKtar, Raket and Soma. But he will need to play smart in this match, or he will be thrown out of the tourney for good.

This match is scheduled for either wednesday at 1800 CET or thursday at 1830 CET.

Also, stay tuned for more Guesstimate polls!

ParadokS is my personal fav. for the LB finals, and I feel confident that he will be able to floor Rock^ in 2.

With para being the higher seeded one i think the match will follow this route:
1st map: dm6 => to para
2nd map: dm4 => to rock
3rd map: not sure what they will toss, but kenya should be easy for para versus rock, and dm2 should be a tight match, with the better outcome for para tho :>

=> para - rock: 2 - 1

para is in great shape atm, almost unbeatable on dm6 and doing surprisingly well on the other maps, so i think he'll win this match comfortably losing at worst one map.
my guess (and vote) however is 2:0 para with dm4 being close and dm6 being not.

maybe someone should organise a points based betting system like e/xsreality for duelmania and nqr matches, with a league table of most accurate betters

its a pity we can't use unibet.com to place bets! im taking 5/3 odds for para to win 2-0

Oldman, I've actually thought about it. My problem is, that I can't code for shit in PHP yet. Can't even make a fucking calculator.

Such an idea is part of the qw.nu re-development. I'm not handling it myself (though I am 'lead' coder for the main qw.nu site) but I think someone is sorting it out
