If you are from Spain, you should go to #qw.es. There are some spanish players there, maybe they can help you.
Monter, for example, is one spanish player that is coming back to quakeworld, maybe he wants to prac a lot too. I usually play some 2on2s too, I wouldn't mind to prac with you one of these days.

i hope it, but quakeworld is hard, specially when players play for more than 10 years and you come now ^_^

You could ask eb, he is kind of low-skilled and sits in Barcelona these days.
