Anyone outside who wanna do a new banner for Ignition 3 tourney ? Use following format: 760px X 160px



You can create everything you can imagine but it should be cool, quakeworld referred and contain this text somewhere:

Thanks, it's cool you like it, but how can you vote for it, when you haven't seen any other? I mean, what Spirit posted is not even proper banner, so mine is only one atm, and you can't compare it with anything...

I really like LethalWiz one. I like it more than mine actually Falzzi one is cool too, looks very pro, but reminds me Event Horizon II Q3 trickjumping movie (great movie btw.) for some reason, dunno why, they used another font in movie after all.

BTW, what software you guys use? I do everything in GIMP, tried Photoshop, because all ppl told me it's better but i can't even do half of things i can in GIMP. But i can't say it's better or worse, i just don't know PS well enough...

Adobe Photoshop 3 CS for this particular piece. For my other stuff I mostly use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Excellent choice, imho a lot better than my suggestion. A lot more quakey and I just love the font. Great job sheikh!
There's just one thing I'm wondering: Are you going to completely re-design the layout for the ignition site or just change the headimage?

imo it should be a re-design on the whole layout

A re-design is always nice, but to be honest I believe the current header image blends in perfectly!
Perhaps change some colours in the left, vertically aligned part of the navigation. Some red-ish colours maybe?
