I'm to buy some headphones... never had any good one and always wanted to .. so i gathered my courage to invest on some set of nice headphones.. not too expensive ones though.. cuz i've just got 3 tickets on the streets for speedjumping too mutch. 8) so.. i've been thinking about getting some simple Seinnheiser HD-437 or HD-202 .. they are cheap and said to have an awesome sound.. ( i'm more to 202 , since its pratically the same phone but with closed system ) .. but then it crossed my mind that there are some 5.1 headphones around.. and i've a GA-P35-DS3 rev 2.0 mobo with onboard sound.. wich has support to 5.1 .. i just wanna know with is it really better than a simple stereo.. since.. all speakers are placed togheter on your set of headphones.. its not like if you were using a hometheater with the speakers all splited into different spots.. so are these new 5.1 headphones really good? ... and wich model could i get that would be as good as a seinnheiser 202.. in price and quallity ( well .. it should be better quallity, due to its tecnology.. )

any thoughts?

Go for the Sennheiser HD-25-1 or HD-25-2, They're closed and probably the best headphones i've ever used.

Well I guess they would be ok for gaming, but it is fair to point out that those headphones are mainly designed for DJ and other soundwork where the biggest goal is not the naturalness of the sound, but that you can hear things well even in noisy conditions. But like I said, probably good for gaming, not so great if you want nice, natural sound. Personally I use Sennheiser HD-595 for quality listening and PC-160 for gaming.
