I had Steelseries S&S before and now i got their follow-up SP, best plastic pad ever. Works great with Hyperglide skatez.

Why not use and oldfashion "place-mat" that you put on a table when having dinner (to put your plate on)? I haven't tried it, but when looking at all these expensive mouse pads, it seems a good idea to me. And certainly much cheaper. You could get like 20 of these things for the price of 1 mousepad
