whenever i attempt to re-install nquake, which i've needed to do on account of a hard drive crash, i get two errors right after installation

error extracting 'nquake.zip' error opening zip file
and error extracting 'eyecandy.zip' error opening zip file

am i doing something wrong?

i tried to manually open the distfiles, and eyecandy works. should i just extract them myself and put the qw folder where it should be

the nquake.zip doesn't work at all.


edit: op....the eyecandy won't extract manually either.

remove nquake.zip and eyecandy.zip from your nquake-distfiles folder and reinstall.

if this doesn't work, work your way through all the different mirrors, and remove the distfiles inbetween the installations to make sure you get fresh files.
