Is there a max ingame fps in EZ? Just tested a new setup with a Core 2 1.8Ghz and GeForce6800
and it seems to hit a wall at 2850.2 fps, somtimes touching 2850.4 for a second or so.

Anyone gone beyond that? (not timerefresh or timedemo, but normal fps when playing)

maybe that's your setup's limit?

Could be, but it has the characteristic more of a software limit than hardware. If I move around in a complex
part of a map I might get around 2500 fps, but then facing say a wall hits 2850.2 and doesn't go beyond that.
It's the same story regardless of which map I'm in or which wall I'm facing, so it looks to me more like some kind
of programmable limit rather than pure hardware performance. I could be wrong of course.

That limit sounds like your CPU's absolute max ;p

I'm so stupid some times. I just reduced viewsize and got up to about 6200fps on DM4. That would seem
to suggest its a fillrate limit on the GeForce. Anyways thank's for the feedback.

There was a thread about the highest framerate people archived some weeks ago. Search for it.
