ok, uploaded now, should be working (hopefully).

up2, any chance of a post on the main news page? seeing this is the first stable version and all.

or do you think i should wait till i get the site up?

i downloaded this and i think its great, theres alot of stuff i like, and stuff i dont, i dont play tf.. but i am having a problem with my rockettrails.. the very ends of them dont show up, and i really want them to... any ideas how i can get my trail solid all the way through?

edit fortress/fortress.cfg

use the following command from ezQuake manual

r_rockettrail 0-11 (4 is very nice).

totalfortress.com, which was hosting zelTF along with its forum and members has gone done, and will stay that way permenently. i must say the 6000 hits i recieved in the first 3 days the site was up was very enouraging and inspired me to contunue working on the zelTF project. In the mean time the temporary zeltf home is back here on this thread until alternative arrangements can me made.

i never got more than 200 downloads of f/nquake in 1 day alone.

Aye sorry to anyone whose tried to access the zelTF website in the past week or two, the webhost of totalfortress.com had a fit cause zelTF was the only part of his site with any attention so he pulled it. The good news is that thanks to darknoise i have a new domain of my own:

making a linux .tar.gz isnt too hard i suppose, i wouldnt have to do anything except change the ezquake build right?

Hello. I have problem. I've installed zelTF and every thing was ok until i want to edit one of config. It appears that files are protected form writing. I'have WIN XP professional. I'm "admin" on my computer. And i can't delete these files as well. But when i run uninstall everything is cleaned normally. I don't understand why. I can't even change my name...

not sure, thats a really strange error that i havent heard of... make sure it was installed from and being used in the same profile. otherwise i really dont know.

I installed TF and copyied files into other dir. Uninstalled. And it works from that other dir. It's strange but it works

Figured I'd rebuild it and coincide it with the release of ezquake 1.9

Aye - I've ben offline for 6 months or so, but I'm back. I have a bit of spare time and the QWTF passion is definately still there. Perhaps I'll get around to v1.4 after all.

Hey zel, if you decide to work on zelTF 1.4 again here are somethings to fix from 1.3:

- redcap.wav is being played when blue scores and bluecap when red scores. Switching redcap.wav for bluecap.wav and vice-versa fixes it.
- the weapons aliases are buggy, sometimes it doesn't change back to best weapon. Using weapon instead of impulse doesn't help. I don't know what's the problem, but a workaround would be using a best weapon alias like:
+sbw "impulse 12;+attack"
and use it instead of +attack.

And some suggestions:

- I like nQuake's crosshair better,
- A linux release, please.

Woh hey Luizera!

Thanks for the info - if you're willing to help out I'm definitely keen to pull everything out and finally get 1.4 finished. Linux release is easy enough. Nice spot on the .wav files. I already fixed the weapon issue but i lost it all, amongst a completely reinvented comms system and a number of other changes. Ok - I'll get back to it.

dead project i'm guessing?

what's the easiest way to access classic QW Team Fortress? Just download ezquake or nquake and hop onto a tf server and hope everything downloads ok?

Just update version of ezquake in zelTF package.
Also I recommend to add bots for map 1on1r (arena duel) and botsmap2 (train your sniper skills on bots running with bunnyhopping)
