hi all

i was wondering if anybody has a good qw config that he/she's using on a macbook. my old config that i was using on my pc doesn't look/work that good (very strange fov, mouselag etc), and i'm no config-pro so that i could simply build a new one :/ i tried downloading a few from qw.nu but the links just redirect me to the configs-page :/

When you select a config on the configs page, you need to scroll down and you will see the selected config in a textarea box.

Your FOV may seem weird if you're not used to a 16:10 aspect ratio. Try selecting a 4:3 resolution if you don't mind black bars on the side.

The only way I can get rid of 'mouse lag' is to turn off vsync (vid_wait 0). I still get some delay, probably because the display might have a high response time and the graphics card in the Macbook is not very nice (intel gma integrated thing). Running an external monitor seems to work a little better.
