I'm sorry to say that but the lips are a weak point of your drawing :S

(I do love you though)

No goq, you must not look at it as lips. They are rocks. It is not a photo reality drawing of humans. It's not real. It's beyond real. So therefor there can not be any weak points in it.

:E Right... Can't argue with that.

ps. In my experience most drawings looks a lot better on a photo than in reality.

That really is not my experience.
I am a lousy photographer, so that doesn't help, and my drawings are so detailed that you can enjoy it still if you are with your nose close up to the paper. For some it is even needed to discover all the weird little thingies hidden everywhere.

Thanks Spirit.
At the moment I'm only working on details in textures. The big bits are all done.
Well, exept for one little doubt wether to place a little 'bodytree' figure or not at the 'belly' of the middle 'boob-rock figure'.
After that.
Uh oh.... then the big decission will have to be made.
Colour it up, or not.

loving your artwork buurvrouw the way you look at things and draw them in a different perspective than the normal, like savidor dali kinda stuff an think that tattoo idea would look well! im lookin at getting a tattoo done but not sure what to go for would much rather have an origional one drew up for me if you fancy a challenge and arnt too busy wondering if you could have a crack at one for me or an idea atleast? not sure what too include in it , but im thinking because my irl nickname is 'card' i could have possibly an ace of spades or sumthing to represent it, not having to be an actual picture of a card but have the A and the spades sign and a demon or something threw into it and the name card included somewhere? be great if you could help me out... cheers.

Spliffy, sounds like a nice idea here and there, but I'm not swimming in a lot of time at the moment. I have two books to finish, plenty of drawings and/or paintings to finish and the ones that bring up money comes first. :/ Sorry.
Maybe on a rainy sunday I will doodle something for it, but I can't make any promisses.

Anyways.
Hard to believe, but I think I am really finished with the inks now on my Sinsister.
http://carolmulder.web-log.nl/photos/uncategorized/sinsisterinkedsmall.jpg

So ehm, now what. Spending another 3 weeks on colouring it up? Or maybe just enjoy it for a few days as it is. I think it looks absolutely great in just black and white. But I do realise that with a bit of colours I could add things. Like a (moon?sun?)light coming from behind the rocks that leaves a lighter mark on the muddy waters. Fleshy bits could become a little bit more fleshy here and there and still sink in more in the soberness of rocks. Skulls could get a bit of yellowish white where they come lose from the stones. Trees and other wooden bits could become more ....thingy. And, well, so... yeh. Or not.

I have decided. I won't colour it.
It is beautiful, gorgeous and brilliant as it is.
Colour wouldn't add anything, just slurp away.
Zo.

Sinsisters is the name.
For those who is interested in the size, it is 50 x 65 cm. And I have no idea what that is in inches or feet or toes or whatever you messure in.

Not to mention the phallic symbolism of the trees...

Fantastic piece of art, I love all the details. Any chance for a higher resolution photo?
