The Salvation Draft League was an initiative started in order to promote more activity in the Quakeworld scene. This league is based on the "captains picking players" model where top players in the scene will take turns choosing from the pool of players who signed up until the teams are formed (5 members). These teams will then compete against each other in the tournament.

History

Salvation is the first European Quakeworld Draft tournament.

Season 1 of the Salvation Quakeworld Draft League started in march 2012. The season ended with a victory for Milton's Militia. There was a lot of positive feedback with one major exception. Many players who signed up didn't get to play due to limited slots in the 10 teams.
