We are now excited to present the third edition of CTF Showdown.
This tournament will be a two-day thriller, offering everything that was captured during our previous editions. New for this time - Teams will be made up by a Draft! This tournament will consist of 3 teams with 5-6 players which opens up for some 5on5 rounds!
Format
- General Information
- 10 min rounds
- 4on4 (5on5 is OK if both teams agree!).
- Crhook
- No team damage, Weapons stay
- Group stage, BO5: 23 May, 2024
- Maps: Maps will played in the following order: CTF8, CTF2M1, E2M2, Map x, Mammoth. Map x will be determined by voting, ending Friday May 10th.
- Team color: Team color will be randomized in advanced and will be the same for each map.
- Standings determined by won games, followed by won rounds followed by total frag difference.
- Semifinals, BO5: 27 May, 2024
- The second and third place team will face each other in the semis.
- Maps: Maps will played in the following order: CTF8, CTF2M1, E2M2, Map x, Mammoth.
- Team color: Team color will be randomized before the first map and will be the same for each map.
- The first team to win 3 maps wins.
- Grand Final, BO5: 27 May, 2024
- The first placed team will play the winner of the semis.
- Maps: Maps will played in the following order: CTF8, CTF2M1, E2M2, Map x, Mammoth.
- Team color: Team color will be randomized before the first map and will be the same for each map.
- The first team to win 3 maps wins.

- Draft will be held on Monday May 13th 20.45 Cest
- Draft Captains: Caveron, LethalWiz and Dryg
- Caveron will be picking first in each round, followed by LethalWiz and Dryg

CTF community are arranging weekly mix games. Everyone is welcome to participate. All info in CTF Discord.
- How to get started with CTF
- Bind the hook with +fire 22 , or impulse 22 (bind q +fire 22) for example.
- Bind tossrune, to throw away your current rune: (bind r tossrune) for example.
- Practice your hook skills and config on a KTX-server. For example: connect london.badplace.eu:28503, in the console, type: ctf, then type: practice.
