Exciting news for our little pond on the internet - A new tournament site!

Qw4ever.com will be a player driven tournament site - where everyone of us are able to influence what maps and modes will be featured.

First tournament is only weeks away and qw4ever.com will be kicking us off with a 4on4 unseeded bracket tournament; where you get to vote on what map it will be!
The new site, put together by Link and D0peskillz in racer speed tempo in the last two weeks, will not be limited to 4on4. It will be a player driven tournament site where you, as a player, will be able to influence not only what mode is played, but also what maps are to be featured.

Using many of the features we are accustomed to in QuakeWorld tournament sites; building on the same layout that phptourny gives - the players should feel right at home!

Their main focus will be on raising the activity of the Quakeworld as a whole. As such they will be extremely forthcoming with molding the future of the site to what you as a player would like it to be.

What would you like to do in QW - where should we be going in the future? This is a perfect chance to get involved and stating your views on how tournaments should be held! Or maybe just what you think would be fun for us to do collectively

The tournaments will have a low threshold for inactivity - make sure that if you do sign up, that you will in fact be playing!

There will also be very low downtime in between each tournament. The next tournament will be planned and organized while the previous one is still running. And so we should be able to continually have some competitive action.

As mentioned; the first tournament to start us off will be a one map only unseeded 4on4 tournament - with 4 players on each team + option for a standin. Be sure to head on over to the forum thread to cast your vote on which will be the first map out!
